Lenghty correspondence between Jones and his second wife, Kitty. The letters starting in 1919 discuss arrangements for obtaining a work visa for Kitty to begin as Jones’ secretary. These are followed by numerous love letters, before and after their marriage in the same year. Many letters were written while the couple were separated for work or domestic reasons; in general the letters are concerning their children, family health concerns and financial and domestic arrangements, as well as travel and professional issues with patients and colleagues.

This item was damaged during a surface water flash flood in London on 12th July 2021, suffering paper distortion, ink migration and staining.
