The correspondence from 1936-1937 is a discussion about Emil Oberholzer and a potential rift in the Swiss Psychoanalytical Society regarding lay analysts. It also includes discussions concerning Sarasin's role as treasurer of the International Psychoanalytical Association and some financial accounts of the association's congresses in Lucerne in 1934 and Marienbad in 1936.

The later correspondence, in 1945, is a discussion of the activities and members of the Swiss Society and International Association during the war years.
