Reports, notes and other papers related to Rickman's psychiatric work during the Second World War within the Emergency Medical Services (Haymeads EMS Hospital and Wharncliffe EMS Hospital) and the Royal Army Medical Corps (Northfield Military Hospital and the War Office Selection Board).

Also included is a DVD copy of a documentary film titled 'Personnel Selection in the British Army: Officers' recorded by the Shell Film Unit and produced for the Ministry of Information in 1944 in which Rickman demonstrates the technique of psychiatric interviewing.
