The bulk of the collection comprises reprints of papers and professional correspondence. The documents also include a small file of newspaper cuttings and several photographs.
Paper entitled, 'On the organisation of psychic energy: instincts, drives and affects', apparently presented to the Dedication Programme at the Institute for Psychosomatic and Psychiatric Research and Training, Michael Reese Hospital on 1 Jun 1951.
The documents comprise correspondence arranging a visit to Monza by Mervin Glasser; Itallian translation of a paper by Glasser headed 'Omosessualita in adolescenza'; responses to Glasser's paper.
The documents include letters; paper 'The Re-Education of the Invert', 1932; Radiation in the Treatment of Physically and Mentally Retarded Children’ others; book 'Letters to Margaret', 1941 (the book has been signed for Milner).
The earliest letters from Reik are regarding the movement of psychoanalytical literature to and from Vienna. The letters from Jones in 1933 are concerning the funding and logistics for Reik's emigration. The later letters are primarily from a committee of Reik's colleagues requesting Jones' support for the establishment of a clinic named in honour of Reik. The final letter, from Reik, is regarding Jones' biography of Freud.
