Also included is a typed manuscript by Masud Khan, entitled 'Strength from Vulnerability. An appreciation of Dr Guntrip's "Schizoid Phenomena, Object Relations and the Self"', which was sent to Brierley by the author.

Eighteen brief personal letters and cards from Martha Freud, Anna Freud and Dorothy Burlington to members of the Schwarz family. The first item is a card from Martha Freud to Alice Schwarz (Elisabeth’s mother) in Jerusalem following the death of Sigmund Freud in 1939. The remaining letters are from Martha and Anna Freud to Elizabeth Harding (née Schwarz) and her husband Geoffrey Harding, except for one letter from Dorothy Burlington and two postcards signed by Dorothy Burlington and Anna Freud.

An artificial collection of written works by various authors in the field of psychoanalysis, comprising small collections and individual items, including manuscripts (original and copies) and transcripts of interviews and lectures. Among the authors included are Otto Fenichel, Edward Glover, Barbara Lantos, Karin Stephen and Lilla Veszy-Wagner.

The documents comprise papers, correspondence and notes amassed during Little's long career in psychoanalysis. There is a series relating to D W Winnicott and her analysis with him. There is also a series relating to her painting which includes several original works.

Papers regarding Marion Burgner's activities within the British Psychoanalytical Society (material related to the Contemporary Freudian Group and the Meetings of Training Analysts, plus teaching notes), as well as copies of papers by psychoanalytic colleagues.

Professional, personal and family material related to Marion Milner. A substantial section of the papers relates to Milner's work with or about other people, mainly psychoanalysts and artists. There is also a long series of illuminating personal diaries and other fascinating series of papers relating to her work, interests and family.

The collection contains pamphlets and journals relating to Marjorie Franklin's work on environmental therapy, a copy of a letter to Franklin from the widow of Sandor Ferenczi and four photographs of Franklin.

The collection comrpises mostly clinical material including patient notes arising from Mervin Glasser's work as a psychoanalyst at the Portman Clinic. It also includes papers relating to his involvement with various professional bodies, documents relating to papers and conferences, research notes and a small amount of correspondence.
