This file contains diagnostic patient reports; typed and handwritten sessional notes; related correspondence with colleagues.
These include notes from assesment interviews as well as lengthy case notes. These are often accompanied by referral letters and letters from patients.

The documents comprise a copy of 'Group Analysis: The Survivor Syndrome Workshop, November 1980, which has an introduction by Garland; letter from Garland of the Tavistock Clinic thanking Dinora Pines for her contribution to a seminar of survival, 1990; typescript paper entitled 'External Disasters and the Internal World: an approach to understanding survivors'. This was a chapter in Jeremy Holmes ed. 'Handbook of Psychotherapy for Psychiatrists', 1991.

The documents comprise a photograph of Caroline Maynard with a cutting of a newspaper report of her marriage to Arthur Stuart Blackett pasted to the reverse; postcard sent by Marion Milner to her mother from Italy, 1952; letter from G M Franks a cousin of Caroline Maynard sent from Wad Hamed in the Sudan, 1898.
