Manuscript of diaries providing a detailed account of psychoanalytic treatment with D W Winnicott. The diaries, written by a regressed patient under the pseudonym Nancy Born, describe the first five years (1947-1952) of the patient's analysis. The manuscript includes notes contributed by Winnicott and is accompanied by brief extracts of correspondence between the author and Winnicott regarding the writing process.
