This was one of six lectures given by members of the British Psycho-Analytical Society to celebrate the centenary of Freud’s birth during April and May 1956. The lectures were published in John D. Sutherland Ed., 'Psycho-Analysis and Contemporary Thought', (The Hogarth press and Institute of Psycho-Analysis, 1958).
The documents comprise 5 different typescripts of the lecture, with annotations by Milner.
On one of the documents Milner has written, ’21.11.71’. The others are undated [Late 1950s?].
