A small amount correspondence between early officers of the Society and Institute, including comments on membership, training, office-holding, and publications. Also included is a letter from Hedwig Abraham thanking the Society for their condolences on the death of her husband, Karl Abraham (1926); a note on the policy of the Institute (1930); and later notes by Sylvia Payne on the history of the Institute (1936).
A collection of documents relating to Freeman's early career including an instruction from the Commandant of the Army School of Hygiene in 1943; letter from the British Psychoanaytical Society accepting him for training, 1946; letter advising him that he has qualified for independent analyst, 1951. The documents also include a typed career summary prepared by Freeman, (Undated, c.1995?].
