Also included is an an earlier item, which is a notice of a committee meeting regarding the issue of office-holding in the society.
Files of material related to specific subjects of interest to Gillespie, containing his published and unpublished papers, notes, correspondence etc, as well as papers and offprints of works by different authors (see series P16-B for additional material by other authors). It is not clear whether these files were created by Gillespie for his work or assembled after his death for transfer to the archives.
