Handwritten paper presented by Gillespie to the medical faculty of the University of Toronto and later at the University of Pretoria.
Incomplete set of draft chapters, mostly typed, for an unidentified book. The chapters were, in most cases, in individual folders, but for conservation purposes only the front cover of each folder has been retained. The chapters have been arranged numerically. There are also a few loose sheets of notes at the end of the final file.
Part of a proposed volume of selected papers of William Gillespie, comprising his inaugural and public lectures (two copies, one incomplete) as the Freud Memorial Visiting Professor of Psychoanalysis at University College London. These were to form the basis of the book and Gillespie's introduction to the volume is included with them. Also included is correspondence with Masud Khan and others discussing the proposed publication, including details of the additional material that Gillespie hoped to include.
