This material was kept together in a bundle. It includes typescript draft pages; notes; preparatory work for the book's illustrations. There is also a typescript of an appendix entitled 'Looking at 'An Experiment in Leisure', which was not published in the final version.
This was a series of Freud Centenary Lectures put together by the British Pscyhoanalytical Society. It included a lecture by Ilse Hellman entitled 'Psycho-Analysis and the Teacher'.
The title of the seminars was 'Aspects of the Creative Process, in the Clinical Setting, as illustrated by the drawing in the book 'The Hands of the Living God'. The documents also include 2 pages of related notes.
Paper contributed to a festschrift for Geza Roheim and presented to a Scientific Meeting of the British Psychoanalytical Society on 4 Oct 1950. Also included are handwritten and typed versions of a table entitled, 'A table of psycho-social relationships (based on a discussion with Trist)'.
Three typescripts of published obituaries; one was written by Patrick J Mahaney for the 'Canadian Journal of Psychoanalysis' and two were written by Athol Hughes, one published in the 'Journal of Contemporary Thought'[?] and the other presented to the British Psychoanalytical Society and published in the 'Bulletin of the British Psychoanalytical Society' (available only to members, students and guests of the Society). Also included is a newspaper obituary from the 'Daily Telegraph'.
