This started out as Margaret Little's contribution to a Festschrift for Richard Sterba, May 1973. It was then published in the 'Bulletin of the British Psychoanalytical Society', 1973 and 'International Journal of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy', 1977.
The documents include 5 typescript drafts; copy of the paper as published; lists of alterations; newspaper cuttings; correspondence; a programme for a 1978 National Theatre production of Ibsen's 'Brand'; agenda for a 1952 Club meeting which included a reading of the paper; notes.
