The earliest letter concerns a burglary in Vienna and also includes a reference to Freud suggesting Jones as a future President of the International Psychoanalytical Association (according to a translation of the letter). There is correspondence concerning currency exchange rates and overseas literature sales, plus copies of correspondence regarding the suitability of a Mrs Agar as an analyst. The later letters, 1953 to 1954, from Emmy Sachs are regarding research for Jones' biography of Freud.
