At the back of the book there are 3 pages of notes written about the notebook in 1932. One page records themes emerging in the diary and another has a piece to add to the introduction [of 'A Life of One's Own'].
Marion Milner uses this notebook to record ideas on techniques of self observation, 'Arguments re. Socialism', what should be recorded in a 'Journal Log Book'.
The notebook is in an envelope and many of the pages are loose. Also inside is a photograph of a young woman, possibly Marion Milner's sister Win or a friend.
