The first box contains cards, corresponding to the indexes of symbols and cases and the lists of dreams and analogies, the second box has cards relating to an 'Index of Papers trimmed for Penguin Ed.' and also the layout of Volume XXIV. Two loose cards have been placed at the back of the last box. The original box labels are missing.

Also included are photocopies from biographical dictionaries of entries for the artists Briton Riviere and Hugh Goldwin Riviere (father- and brother-in-law of Joan Riviere) and Reginald Eves, who painted Joan Riviere's portrait.
