A substantial number of items date from the 1930s and 1950s and over half of the items are dated 1960-65; there are few articles prior to 1931 but many articles from this period can be found in Ernest Jones' cuttings albums (ref. P04-E).
Many of the articles reflect popular and scientific attitudes towards psychoanalysis. Articles from the late 1930s include a small number of reports on the emigration to London of Sigmund Freud in 1938 and reports on his death from many different countries in 1939. Articles from the 1950s and 1960s cover a wide range of psychoanalytical topics and other psychological and mental health issues, including articles assessing psychoanalysis and the work and legacy of Sigmund Freud.

These include typed report headed 'Fourth Report by Mrs Milner on the Psychological Investigation of G. P. D. S. T. Schools' 9 June 1938; detailed 15 page typescript report on the system of education in the schools [page 1 missing]; report sent to Lady Savory, Chairman of the Trust explaining 'how the experiment of applying psychological methods in our school system is progressing', 4 March 1935; graphs showing results of intelligence tests.
There are 22 sets of notes. The numbering and annotations suggest that these notes were used for several different series of lectures. There may have also been an overlap with the lectures catalogued as P01/B/A/4.
