The earliest correspondence is regarding issues of membership of the International Psychoanalytical Association. The majority of the correspondence, from 1934 to 1938, is mainly in German, but (appears to be) primarily regarding the Jewish members and the internal politics of the German Psychoanalytical Society. There is a report by Boehm on the events of 1933 within the German Psychoanalytical Society, given to the Amsterdam Congress in August 1951.
