Nina Marion Blackett was born in Kensington in 1900, the daughter of Arthur Stuart Blackett and Caroline Frances Maynard. Her brother was Patrick M S Blackett (1897-1974) the eminent physicist. She also a sister Winifred (1895-1969) who married George Burger.
Marion Blackett married Dennis Milner in 1927. They had one son.
